If you're anything like me when looking for somewhere to get coffee, drink or a snack, the first thing I do is of course suss the menu to check they have something that tickles my fancy (and that they have almond milk), and secondly, check out their Insta. This helps me get a vibe of what the cafe is like...and how it will also look on my page!
Here are some of my fave places to go to in Perth when you want a delicious treat and an equally delicious pic! In fact, to give you some inspiration, all photos below are pics I have taken for my Insta Story.
Ooh Coffee in North Fremantle
Address: 255 Queen Victoria St, North Fremantle WA 6159
Located right on the street, this small cafe is great for people watching and appreciating the surrounding architecture. They also have a very cute boutique store next door to explore!
My recommendation: Almond milk iced latte
Pep's Wine Bar
Address: 492 Stirling Hwy, Peppermint Grove WA 6011
A funky new wine bar that has friendly staff and seriously good cocktails! I'm also obsessed with their glassware and decor.
My recommendation: Anything bubbly or the G&T
SoHo Lane
Address: Alexander, Buildings, 13/649 Beaufort St, Mount Lawley WA 6050
A new addition to Mount Lawley is this New York inspired cafe that's full of colour and quirky details!
My recommendation: Fried chicken Burger
The Little Bay
Address: 33 W Coast Dr, Watermans Bay WA 6020
This boho-chic cafe comes with a stunning view of the ocean and beautiful decor that makes you feel like you're a celeb in Malibu!
My recommendation: Truffle scrambled eggs (seasonal) or the mushroom toastie
Island Market Trigg
Address: 364 W Coast Dr, Trigg WA 6029
Located just off the beach, this pink and blue dream offers both delicious food and cocktails! Although their dinner menu is great, I can't go past their breakfast options!
My recommendation: Orange and pistachio waffles! (see below)
Emily Taylor
Address: 19-29 Henderson St, Fremantle WA 6160
Hidden away next to the Fremantle Markets is this new Asian restaurant that is truly something special and an absolute must try. The outside area is filled with colourful umbrellas and the inside is just as beautiful - win win!
My recommendation: The lobster and truffle dumplings! (See below-mouth is watering just looking at the photo)
Tonic & Ginger
Address: 92 South Terrace, Fremantle WA 6160
Located within the oh so groovy "Old Synagogue" is this stunning restaurant, with the food just as great as the lights! The long tables makes it great for larger groups, but there are also plenty of more intimate spots too, perfect for a date night.
My recommendation: The set menu
